Lloyd is CEO and founder of Chief Legal Executive LLC, an executive coaching, consulting, and professional development firm.

Lloyd’s passion lies in working with leaders who are hungry to learn and grow in the capacity of an executive coach and facilitator with forums and executive leadership retreats. Lloyd’s thoughtful courage and engaging personality enable his clients to go to the next level as he challenges them with inquiry, powerful questions, and intuitive perceptions all in the service of helping them be their best.

He has more than 30-years of experience assisting senior executives in leading global companies and their teams in clarifying personal and professional values to create long-term vision. Between 2011 and 2018, Lloyd conducted 59 leadership development workshops specifically targeted to senior in-house counsel. The workshops were designed to help them leverage and expand their individual strengths and leadership skills. Many of the senior in-house leaders Lloyd has worked with in leadership development and coaching have since gone on to both general counsel roles and other senior executive roles.

Prior to founding his own company, Lloyd worked in law departments and public and non-profit sectors. This panoramic experience informs his coaching. As a leader who has worked with a variety of teams, he knows the challenges that many companies and their managers face. He understands the necessity of creating environments that help employees thrive and can help other executives develop the clarity of vision as leaders to do so.

Process

The coaching process is unique to each client and is based on the client’s goals and challenges. The focus is on changing mindset and behaviors in the most holistic sense rather than a focus on one challenge. This approach will have the widest ranging and longest lasting effects on the client’s professional and personal life and equip them to develop fully as a leader.
